Regusci Winery

In another era today’s Regusci Winery was built and Known as the Grigsby-Occidental Winery when built in the 1870s. In 1881, around Christmas time, a winery worker was found dead at the winery. It was later uncovered that two Chinese workers had killed the man. At one time there was a large China Town community in Napa along the Napa River at what is now left of China Point. These facts are all from a book titled “Murder and Mayhem in the Napa Valley,” by Todd Shulman. An interesting read and worth picking up a copy.
